Ciani Lee Green is a rising senior pursuing a degree in Psychology and African and African American Studies. For as long as she remembers, Ciani has been interested in the field of education, specifically education inequality. In the future, Ciani plans to work in an educational field, potentially one day becoming the superintendent of the Camden City School District, where she interned after her freshman year. Ciani will devote her life to fighting for educational equality so that underrepresented and marginalized people will have access to quality education. In the fall of her junior year, she was an exchange student at Spelman College. During her time there, she examined the psychological impact of attending a predominately Black institution and became interested in the role culture plays in education. Next year, she will serve as Co-President of both the Black Student Union and the Black Family Gathering Committee, which puts on the annual Blackfest Concert, in addition to serving as Vice President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc Omicron Chi Chapter. She is currently supporting Sean Reardon at CEPA.
